The other day I opened the fridge, and found the peanut butter in it. I got a little miffed, and inquired loudly how it might have gotten there, while taking it out and putting it back in the pantry. If you put peanut butter in the fridge, YOU CAN'T SPREAD IT, for the love of all that is holy! Pantry! Not Fridge!
What do you say?
I've never had peanut butter so I cannot comment.
Posted by: mike at March 31, 2004 08:35 PMPeanut butter in fridge is just wrong. And Mike? That is just crazy...
Posted by: gforce at March 31, 2004 08:36 PMWhy peanut butter? Are you practicing for BB5?
Posted by: buffyvol at March 31, 2004 08:37 PMIf I was practicing for BB5, I'd refrain altogether, in the hopes that the taste would be more of a novelty.
The only time PB goes in the fridge is if you buy the all-natural kind. You put it in the fridge so it stays fresh and won't separate (as much). But personally, all natural peanut butter is nasty. Chemicals make it yum.
Okay, I'm not a big fan of the peanut butter, but it absolutely does not belong in the fridge.
Posted by: Nancy at March 31, 2004 09:47 PMMaybe, someone wanted to bogart the PB, and figured if they put it in the fridge, no one would find it there? Or, maybe, someone is scatterbrained and put the PB in the fridge and the milk in the pantry? The real test will be if the PB ends up BACK in the fridge. =)
Posted by: TVJunkie at March 31, 2004 10:52 PMI'm pretty sure there is only one person in Rappy's household who actually eats peanut butter... I have a few theories as to how it got in the fridge, which I agree is all kinds of wrong. I keep mine in the fridge though, because I know if I keep it in the pantry where it's nice and smooth and soft I will be eating it with a spoon and it won't be left in the pantry for long because it will find a nice home on my ass and theighs;)
Posted by: eyeball at March 31, 2004 11:40 PMI am the criminal who put the PB in the fridge. Once PB is opened, it is supposed to be kept refrigerated. Poor baby has difficulty spreading it? Get over it! I have a list this--------------long of things that aren't in their places but do I have regular hissy fits about them? I don't think so. People who live in glass houses shouldn't complain about PB. blah blah blah. There. I've vented and feel better.
*waves hello at Rappy's mom*
Posted by: Highwaygirl at April 1, 2004 12:05 PMHi mom!
Posted by: rappy at April 1, 2004 12:09 PMSee, I really dislike peanut butter. I never got the fixation with it.
So, I've probably been guilty sticking it in the fridge. I just don't know any better. :)
Posted by: Genny at April 1, 2004 01:36 PMI keep my peanut butter in my BB shrine. Doesn't everyone?
