Last Friday eyeball and I headed to the Levinsky spice market in south Tel Aviv. Now, when I say market, you'll probably imagine a covered building, with stall after stall of perfectly placed containers etc. In reality, the Levinsky market is a small strip in one of the narrow streets of the often unsavory (pardon the pun) south of the city. The street is messy, not particularly clean, and certainly not the kind of place you'd want to hang out at late at night, but the small strip holds many beautiful scents, colours, and surprises.

Those pictures are so beautiful. I especially like ... aieee! I can't chose. I love them all! Thanks for sharing.

Posted by: Highwaygirl at November 18, 2004 01:10 PMI like the rose one too and the one fourth from the bottom (the lentils), where part of it is the sunlight and part of it is in shadows.
I just echo what I said yesterday...lovely, lovely photos, Rappy.
