I've never claimed to be the most original person on the planet. Highwaygirl and eyeball have both been on my case to do one of these, so here goes...
The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).
Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as new year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

Posted by: Highwaygirl at January 4, 2005 08:48 AMWhat did I say?!
Posted by: eyeball at January 4, 2005 08:53 AMI did mine, too, but was still tweaking it. I'll probably post it tomorrow. I'm afraid that once I post it that I'll think of something else! And then I'm in trouble! *worries*
Posted by: Erika at January 4, 2005 09:35 AMPlease 'splain me Lucy the difference between 28 and 49. Also, as to your laundry "aspirations", ha ha, ha ha, ha ha.
Posted by: chaya at January 4, 2005 02:40 PMWhen you figure out #75 - can I pay you to show me how to use it??? I can help you out with #70, but it may cost one of us a bundle in airfare.
Posted by: Cops at January 4, 2005 04:40 PMItems 26 & 27 seem contradictory, unless your cat has a first and last name.
Great list!
Posted by: lifeonhold at January 4, 2005 10:30 PMSo weird! I just stumbled across your list and there are quite a few things on it that I have on mine!
Posted by: Amanda at January 13, 2005 06:57 PMOk, that is uncanny! I'll admit to copying liberally from other lists, but this is the first time I've seen yours. We should have met while I was living in Toronto, seeing as we're clearly one entity operating in one body!

The guy who pushed me to do is the same who pushs you.
