I know the last picture is cut off and in general isn't a piece of photographic excellence, but damn, it makes me giggle every time I see it.
Posted by raptorgirl at September 16, 2005 02:51 AMI thought of you the other day, Rappy. I was in an artsy-fartsy store in Cambria, CA .. which is an artsy-fartsy community in Central California. The wall of the shop was covered in original paintings by a local artist. Covered. The subject matter of the beautiful, colorful original oil paintings?
Doors.
Posted by: TVJunkie at September 16, 2005 08:55 AMHeh.
He's like my soulmate. With his doors and my windows, we were clearly meant for each other :).
Posted by: rappy at September 16, 2005 09:39 AMWOW!!! They look so wondeful, you made my weekend! Thanks so much.
(Any chance of having a pic of Sasi too?)
Posted by: moran at September 16, 2005 01:35 PMI'll get my brother right on that. Sassy is adorable, too, but both she and her sister seem really small compared to our giants.
I've been meaning to tell you that the only reason I read the mouse is for your reviews, which always make me giggle.
Posted by: rappy at September 16, 2005 02:30 PMThanks, dear!
Are Schnitzel and Kiwi still as close as they used to be when they were younger? They seem more independent and separate in your late pictures.
Can't wait for Sasi's pics!
Posted by: moran at September 18, 2005 01:04 PMThey've really mellowed in their "old age". They confine their crazy fighting to maybe 20 minutes a day (at least when I'm home - hell if I know what they do when I'm out, although I'm inclined to think it's mostly sleep), but they do spend a fair amount of time grooming each other.
Schnitzel is a lot more acrobatic, and can almost reach the upper shelf on my bookcase (about 1.60m). She often sleeps on the high windowsill in my room, which is also a similar height.
Their favourite perch is on the living room windowsill, where they check out the yard cats and the next door neighbours.
When are you guys coming to see us?
Posted by: rappy at September 18, 2005 02:44 PMAre you in Israel on the holidays?
(no wonder schnitzel's former name was activula, while her sister - passivula)
Posted by: moran at September 20, 2005 11:25 AMOh, you got the name thing all wrong. It should have been Activula and Hyper-Activula.
Yes, I'm here for the holidays! I'll make honey cake! But I'll have to get the neigbourhood cafe to deliver coffee, because my Taster's Choice is no Danessi :).
Posted by: rappy at September 20, 2005 12:31 PMJust some Fancy Feast for me :)
Wonderful then, we'll be in touch.
Posted by: moran at September 21, 2005 02:25 PMThese are also wicked.
