Totem called me at 1am this morning, crying, to tell me that Sassy (the black one) had died. She was accidentally locked out on the balcony and either jumped off or fell. They found her when they got home.
Sassy was very lucky to have had a warm, loving home for over a year and a half - not an easy feat in a country in which street cats are as abundant as squirrels are in Canada, and mostly roam the streets. She came from the same folks that gave me my Kiwi and Schnitzel, and they miss their "little sister" as much as I do. *Tightly hugs cats*.
Sleep well, Sassy...

I keep remembering the day I went to pick up your cats with you and Sassy climbed onto my bag.
We already miss her so much.
