Micha recently ordered a custom-made muesli mix from My Muesli. On the company website you pick the ingredients you'd like in your mix, give the mix a name and wait for delivery. Soon thereafter you'll get your muesli in these adorable tubes. On the back is a sticker listing your mix title, ingredients, and a "packed by" line, signed by the individual who made the actual mix.
I find the whole concept really cool and think that the company definitely scores high on the aesthetic scale. I love seeing the tubes in the kitchen (and no, I haven't left them on the counter. They're on top of a cabinet.
And yes, that's a whole bus load of muesli, isn't it? By the way, muesli=granola if you aren't from around here...

That is AWESOME! However, if I ordered custom-made muesli from Europe I'm pretty sure Andrew would divorce me. Luckily, I have discovered that making my own granola is pretty easy. I don't have funky tubes in which to store it, though.

Posted by: rappy at November 19, 2008 11:46 PMThat is really cool! What's not so cool? Visiting the site made me realize that I don't remember a gosh darn bit of the German language I learned in college.
